Al-Hasan Al-Basrī said,

"The Hajj performed correctly and with piety is the one after which the pilgrim turns away from the goods of this world and aspires to the afterlife."
The Hajj, performed correctly and with piety, is the one during and at the end of which one gives food to others, one says good and one greets one another in abundance. Now, in reality, all these definitions are at the same time.
The Hajj is the best fight for the cause of Allah, exalted be He:
'Aisha, May Allah is pleased with her,' one day asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): 'O Messenger of Allah, we found that jihad was the best of works. Will we do it? ". He replied: "But the best jihad is a Hajj fulfilled correctly and with piety" (Bukhari and Muslim).
The Hajj is the jihad of the woman:
'Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her,' one day asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him ): 'O Messenger of Allah, do we not conquer with you and do we not fight on the path of Allah? ". He replied: "The best and the most beautiful struggle on the path of Allah is a Hajj fulfilled correctly and with piety . " "Since I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him), I have never missed a season of Hajj," said Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her (Bukhari and Muslim).
And according to Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Hajj and the Umra constitute the jihad of the elderly, the weak and the women" [An-Nisā` -Albânî: sahîh )].
