'Umar Ibn Al-Khattab,

May Allah be
pleased with him, said: "I was about to dispatch men in the Islamic
countries to impose the capitation on those who have the means to accomplish
Hajj and Have not done so. For they are not Muslims. They are not Muslims
"(Ibn Hadjar).
For his part, 'Ali Ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be
pleased with him, said: "Multiply the circumambulations around this sacred
house (the Ka'ba), before you are prevented from doing so."
And Al-Hasan, May Allah be pleased with him,
add: "Muslims will remain attached to their religion, as long as they make
the pilgrimage and will go to the qibla.”
The Hadj wipes out the bad works that preceded
it:
'Amr Ibn Al-’as,
may Allah be pleased with him, said: "When Allah, exalted be He, filled me
with Islam, I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)
Said: 'Give me your right hand so that I may swear allegiance to you.' When he
gave it to me, I kept mine. He asked me:
- 'What do
you have' Amr '?
- 'I have a
condition'.
- ‘Which?’
- 'Let all my
sins be forgiven me.'
- "Do
you not know that Islam erases all that precedes it, as well as emigration and
Hajj?” (Muslim)," he answered me."(Muslim).
